Ideas

Have an easy mode which would incorporate getting 2 abilitie points per level instead of 1.

Also have a hard mode where you get 1/2 the amount of experience as usual, and and/or you start with lower statistics.

IF you choose to incorporate the hard mode, if you complete it ... then you are able to get access to the cheat menu which incorporates having all the spells that you can not get like "Fate" for example.

It will also let you give as much abilitie points and statistics that you want, to start the game.

Or a better idea, have a custom version where you choose the stats and abilities you want and start the game to make your own challenge.

Just a few ideas.

Good, but a lot of bugs makes it impossible 2 beat

When I was playing this game, we got pretty far until we had to use one of the keys. We knew it was the right key because we used it before and it was getting late so we decided to do the game later on .. on a different day. The next day, we got to the same point ... used the same key and something happened where it wouldn't work anymore. When the menu popped up, and we clicked the key and dragged it upwards ... it just stuck there as the mouse continued to move. When the menu went back to it's normal state, the key seemed to be floating in mid - air with everywhere you went. Everytime you tried to use the key, it wouldn't work at all.

What is even odder, is that when I tried to put the key in the same square in the menu where it originally was, it wouldn't let me do it. It would either go to another box, or out of the menu entirely and float in mid - air. This has also happened with other keys, the positive coil, and multiple other items.

I call it the "Floating item" glitch that needs to be taken care of. You CAN NOT beat the game with this glitch, because for some odd reason, it won't register the items anymore. So ... we couldn't beat it, so we gave up and decided to write a review and let you know about it.

When you fix the gliches, we will play this game again and hopefully beat it when we meant to originally.

For all the work you have done, I did NOT blame you or give you less than a 4 because this took a LOT of work and it's a long awaited sequel ... but for GODS SAKE, fix that glitch so people can actually beat the game.

Oh yeah...one suggestion:

PUT A SAVE FEATURE IN!!!! Incase this glitch happens to someone towards the end of the game, and then they are f&*$ed.

That's my advice anyway...

I know this issue, spotted it long time ago, however I'd have to change the apperiance of the menu in order to fix that. My only advice is to carefully drag and release, that hiding menu was not a best idea after all, in new episodes it;s changed into something quite different where those kind of bugs are impossible. Check out submachine0: the ancient adventure - this is the engine I'm building sub4 right now.

Liked it...but I have some suggestions

This is INDEED the best defense game on Newgrounds so far..yet here are my suggestions for it.

Add different difficulties of easy, medium, and hard {hard being this version :p} just like in your other FA4.

You earn to little money, maybe add an extra $5 - $10 per unit.

The terran lvl 2, and seige tanks have to many hp. Reduce it by about 100 MAYBE 50, yet I would like to see 150 less.

Increase the mp regeneration level, it regenerates WAY to slow.

Have a building that automatically detects ghosts and wraiths so you don't have to concentrate on two parts of the screen at the same time. Also, have the defense buildings shoot behind them incase a ghost is there.

Have quick buttons so it is easier to navigate. For example: o for overlord q for queen b for build u for upgrade etc.

Have more starting money...like $400 instead of $350.

Reduce the recharge time of the defiler. Also, it gets killed by a seige tank in one hit. Also, why can't you have two or more defilers? O.o

Have the option to build units like zerglings, hydralisks, etc. Maybe to much? I don't know, just suggestions.

But the main ones I REALLY would like to see is the mp regeneration rate increased, and a building that automatically detects cloaked units so you don't have to use your spell {or whatever} to find it and then die when it's to late.

Does the game ever end?

I lasted 5556 seconds and then gave up because there seemed to be no end to the game.

Music sucked, no sound effects with the tiny spheres, only the space bar (big) ones.

No sound effects when it hit the big black circles.

Way to easy.

Other than that, very good. It was really weird that a mass majority of the game was in one color, but it was really cool how you did it.

Teddy Bear: Patience, yes the first boss battle is long. But after that, it gets quicker and quicker.

Once you get the first weapon, pick the right boss, and use that weapon you earned in the last battle (if it's the boss's weakness), then it will go A LOT quicker.

Don't judge a book by it's cover so quickly.

Anyway, great job like I said. Keep scoping for bugs frequently in your spare time.

Maybe add to it too.
